Japanese satsuma vase, possibly Meiji or Showa period, the hexagonal form vase with tapered foot depicting figural scene in large panels atop a blue ground with gilt elaborate floral designs, the shoulder with four mon also in gilt, the blue ground extending to interior of mouth, the base with 2 character mark with cartouche; overall good condition with minor wear and flaws consistent with age, some wear to gilt; H 9 3/4"
