Pair of antique, Chinese Kangxi-style, Famille Verte enameled porcelain covered jars; each of finely potted baluster form, with figural design depicting a scene of maidens in a courtyard, framed by coral red clouds, and with landscape continuous all around; the domed covers with peach form knop; with much iridescence to the green, and each with double concentric circle mark to base; 19th Century; Provenance: From the Estate of Albert Hendrix Stone, Headmaster of Kuling-American School (acquired between 1923 and 1930); H: 16" (each)
