OLD BISMUTH INGOT
The Tazna Mine near Uyuni on the Altiplano of Bolivia, is one of the very few places where bismuth is mined from ore, with production starting in 1892. This is an old ingot, embossed for COMIBOL (Corporación Minera de Bolivia) and FUNBITELA (Fundación Bismuto Telamayu), 2 1/2 inches long and weighing approximately 140 grams.
