The Gokme Zambezi Valley in central Zimbabwe is renowned for its fine and rare specimens of petrified wood, as offered here, each of the six specimens with a fantastically rugose outer bark texture and one cut end brought to a high polished finish to display the vivid malachite green of the agate replacement effected over 250 million years, the largest 3 inches wide.
