MEGALODON TOOTH

The mouth that bristled with these enormous teeth belonged to the monstrous Megalodon, apex predator of the Miocene oceans, similar to today's Great White Shark, and growing to the length of a Greyhound bus. This is a fine example, with superb enamel coverage and serrations, and a warm gray patina, 5 3/4 inches long with a pronounced curve to the tip.
