Hobart Ward by the Non Com Officers and Privates of the 38th Regt NY Vol 2nd Scott Life Guard as a token of their respect and esteem for his noble qualities and distinguished Gallantry as a soldier"), and battle sites to the other (Bull Run July 1861, Yorktown, Williamsburgh, Fair Oaks, Chantilly, Fredericksburgh, Chancellorville, Peach Orchard, Glendale, Malvern Hill); marriage certificate noting the union of Ward and Isabella Garrido in Perote, Mexico on April 5th, 1848, executed by Isaac G. Seymour and others; together with newspaper obituary clipping detailing his death after being struck by a train, and the achievements of his army career; the medal weighing approx. 91.5 grams, and with leather case
