Two antique Indian brass metal boxes, 19th century or earlier, each with intricate designs, the rectangular box with a wood interior; each with some wear and tarnishing, one with "K.W." to bottom in permanent marker; the larger box H 1" x W 6 1/2" x D 4" (approx.)
Provenance: Collected between 1945-1960 by Carl O. Winberg, former United States Government diplomat, agricultural attache and Foreign Service officer serving across Indonesia, India Burma, Bangladesh and Australia; thence by descent to the present owner.
